Current Division News
Hello, Portland Hub Zone 3 Engineers on March 31st, 2025, the general chairman Will Wallace signed our official agreement for the 11-4 for Portland Hub Z3. It states that we will have four 11-4 boards:
- West Pool RE31/XE30 Pocatello to Nampa established as the RE31 at IY061
- East Pool RE32/XE30 Pocatello to Green River established as the RE32 at IY061
- North Pool RE34/XE30 Pocatello to Dillon established as the RE34 at IY061
- Silver Bow RE30/XE30 Dillion to Silver Bow established as the RE30 at IF328
Then we will have three 6-2 XE30 boards, one at IF185 Idaho Falls one at IX962 Montpelier and one at IY304 Nampa
We will not see the number of employees for each board until April 8th. We can begin putting in our bids electronically by using a link that the General Chairman has put together on the WRGCA.org website.
I have added a links to submit your bid online and to view the 11-4 and 6-2 Calendars. If this link does not work, go to the “Links” tab on this webpage, and you will see the appropriate links to submit your bid, and to see both of the Calendars for 11-4 pools, and 6-2 XE30 boards.
Remember we should get the numbers and groups on April 8, 2025. Once I receive the information, I will pass it along and you will be able to reach out to CMS to schedule your days for the bidding process and cutover. The bids are live so the Engineers can start putting in bids based on the calendars.
The agreement will be posted in the depot at Pocatello, also if you would like a copy of your own, I can email it to you, just let me know and I'll make it happen. This is a 5-page agreement with a good deal of information. I'll be going over it in the upcoming union meeting on April 9th. I hope to see many of you there. I have been told that the 1st 2-3 weeks of the cutover is a complete crap show. I only ask that we try our best to embrace this change and all work together to come to some unity and solidarity for this big new change. As always please don't hesitate to call me or any of the leadership. We are all here to help each other and be united in one another's success. Thank you.
Jeff
